Welcome to Your
PRO Light Controller

Before connecting your PRO Light Controller, update it and your Micro Reef Controller to their latest firmware versions to pair the two devices. Compatible firmware is needed for them to work together. V2.6.1 Firmware Minimum Requirement.
The PRO Light Controller gives your Desktop PRO LED Light online access and precise control over its individual spectrum channels. You can set each channel’s intensity from 0–100%, adjust sunrise and sunset durations, and access Night + Storm modes.
You can use the PRO Light Controller with the PRO Light on its own, or pair it with the full Micro Reef Controller ecosystem. More updates to the full ecosystem include Hourly spectrum control, Preset modes, and more.

-
Set each channel’s intensity precisely from 0–100%.

Set sunrise and sunset durations.
-
Access Night and Storm modes.

Step 1: Connect to the PRO Light Controller
1. Power on the PRO Light Controller and connect the PRO Light.
2. On your phone or computer, open your WiFi settings and join its WiFi access point (PicoLight-XXXX).
3. The setup page may open automatically. If it doesn’t, open a browser and go to 192.168.4.1.
This local connection works much like the initial setup for the Micro Reef Controller Display.
Step 2: Connect to the Wifi
In the PRO Light Controller’s setup page, select your home WiFi network, enter its password, and follow the prompts to save the connection. This enables online access to your light*
*Using the PRO Light Controller on its own? You can stop here and use its controls to adjust your light’s spectrum, intensity, sunrise and sunset durations, and modes.
Step 3: Pair with your Micro Reef Controller (optional)
To use both devices together, find the MAC address of your PRO Light Controller in the main screen interface. Enter that address in the Micro Reef Controller’s pairing settings and save it.
Make sure you use the PRO Light Controller’s MAC address for this step. If you haven’t set up your Micro Reef Controller yet, follow the Micro Reef Controller setup guide first.
Having trouble connecting?
If you’re pairing with a Micro Reef Controller, confirm that both devices have compatible, up-to-date firmware.
Double-check that you entered the PRO Light Controller’s MAC address when pairing.
If the setup page doesn’t open automatically, stay connected to the PRO Light Controller’s access point and visit 192.168.4.1 in your browser.
If you can’t find its access point, refresh your WiFi list or turn your phone’s WiFi off and back on.
