The Micro Reef Pro Display is an upgraded display configuration for the 40oz Micro Reef system, designed to create a cleaner, more serviceable, and more maintenance-friendly desktop reef experience.
Unlike the standard 40oz setup that utilizes fully rigid hard plumbing between the display and sump, the Micro Reef Pro Display features a hybrid plumbing system that combines short rigid connection points with flexible black silicone tubing for both the overflow drain and return line.
This upgraded design allows the sump to fully slide in and out of the stand while the display tank remains securely in place. Maintenance becomes dramatically easier, giving you quick access to pumps, heaters, filtration media, refugium chambers, and other equipment without needing to disassemble the display itself.
The Micro Reef Pro Display also features a thicker front display panel to help minimize bowing and improve overall rigidity. This creates a tighter and more secure seal when paired with travel-ready lids while giving the aquarium an added premium, solid feel overall.
Included black silicone tubing not only adds flexibility and ease of maintenance, but also helps minimize visible algae buildup inside the plumbing for a cleaner appearance long term.
